The Overwatch Open is coming! Presented by FACEIT, the leading competitive gaming platform, and ELEAGUE, Turner and WME | IMG’s popular eSports league, will be officially sponsored by ASUS ROG. As the official PC and monitor sponsor for the entire tournament, ROG will provide the gaming PCs and monitors for both the North American (Sept. 26-27) and European (Sept. 28-29) Regional Finals and the Grand Finals on Saturday, October 1.
The
Overwatch Open is currently the largest tournament for Blizzard’s new
massively popular multiplayer first-person shooter game, Overwatch.
With a $300K prize pool, teams from across North America and Europe
are in the process of qualifying for the tournament’s regional playoffs
through open qualifiers hosted on the FACEIT platform. Once qualified,
teams will compete in the regional playoffs with the chance to earn a
spot in the Regional Finals and a shot at playing in the international
finals for the grand prize of $100K.
All the action is viewable on
the official Overwatch Open Twitch channel, Twitch.tv/OverwatchOpen with the Grand Finals set to air on TBS.
