SDCC: What's the Word

SDCC 2014 starts today. 17 and Jamie Rae will be in attendance. Here's some information leading up to the weekend. Be on the lookout for SDCC to dive deeper.

Robert Downey Jr. was asked if he would star in Iron Man 4, he responded, “It’s down to Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and Ike [Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Entertainment] and Disney to come to us with what the proposal is, and that’s on us to agree or disagree,” said Downey, who made more than $50 million from The Avengers alone. “When things are going great, there’s a lot of agreement.” I'm sure that he will return as Iron Man, Marvel Studios at this present time has no real competition. The only thing is what Marvel/Disney would consider paying.

Here's Ant-Man image that Marvel Studios will be sharing this weekend at Comic-Con. I'm feeling it, what about you? The illustration is a piece of pre-production concept art specifically made for SDCC. Expect Saturday to be big for Marvel.

In a recent interview, Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson did everything except put on the Shazam outfit. That means that if that was his confirmation, The Rock would star in Shazam 2 months after the May 2016 release of Batman v Superman movie starring Ben Affleck,  Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot. The DC cinema list that Nikki Finke released could possibly be true, here's the calendar:

May 2016 - Batman v Superman
July 2016 - Shazam
Dec. 2016 - Sandman
May 2017 - Justice League
July 2017 - Wonder Woman
Dec. 2017 - Flash/Green Lantern
May 2018 - Man of Steel 2

Here are the new Avengers: Age of Ultron movie posters. They look pretty badass to me... By the way Guardians of the Galaxy releases in a week.

SATURDAY SHOULD BE PRETTY BIG FOR MARVEL STUDIOS

Could we see Street Fighter 5 or Darkstalkers at SDCC this weekend?? Yoshinori Ono, SF4 producer announced he would be at the convention with a surprise or two. We all know he's become somewhat of a Master Troller, lets hope something good comes out of this.
