May 15th is the date! This year's Google I/O developer's conference will take place from May 15-17th, and is the biggest event of the year for Android Fanboyz. For the Android fans this event always fuels them with tech. ammo to "share" with Apple and Windows fans. Based off current rumors and speculation we will list some highlights that may be announced this year.

New Motorola Phone:

Google and their phone company Motorola has not teamed up yet to bring us a pure in house Google phone yet. Recently pictures and some details of the Motorola X-Phone has leaked out. Other reports state that this device will spot a HD 4.7inch screen, 32GB of internal storage, and 2GB ram running an almost stock version of Android 4.2. Will this device pump life back in to the creators of the Droids and connect the 2 companies?

Updated Nexus Line:

If you love Android then you probably love the Nexus line of devices offered in the Google play Store. Also the Nexus line of devices also means you will have the full Android OS experience and you will receive timely updates to stay in line with the ever growing tasty OS. Yet you may not feel this way if you bought the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Anyway check out the below renders for what we may see out of the Nexus line.

Android OS Update:

This year we will see an update to the Android OS, but what we will see is still very unclear. On one hand we may a minor update to the current OS Jelly Bean 4.2, and they may call it 4.3. Or we could see an all new OS with major updates and upgrades titled Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. While their has been no major evidence that Key Lime Pie is ready, we will have to wait and see.

New Apps & Features:

There has been some recent leaks regarding Google I/O and Android apps. A new service has create a buzz across the tech world, and it is based around gaming.
Google plans to introduce us to their new gaming hub called Google Play Games. Early reports show that Google Play Games will have social integration, in-game chatting, and cloud capabilities centered around game saves.

Additionally it is expected that Google will announce their new messaging service. This service will group all of the messaging app that Google currently has(G-talk, hangouts, Google+ messenger, ect.) and make them one. Also look out for new Maps and Chrome features as well.

Google Glass:

Aside form the SNL roast skit about Google Glass, this is their product of the future and expect some heavy details for consumers and developers alike.
