Dr. Bruce Banner - Brilliant scientist in the studies of nuclear and gamma physics. Banner was caught in a gamma radiation explosion and is now cursed to transform in times of stress into the living engine of destruction known as the Incredible Hulk.

As of Feb. 3, 2013 Elmayimbe reports at the end of Avengers 2, which presumably is the Infinity Gauntlet, The Illuminati will send Bruce Banner into space, which will lead to The Incredible Hulk 2: Planet Hulk based on the very successful Marvel Universe arc.
I believe that Avengers 3 will be World War Hulk. Estimated release 2017, WOW! If you don't know what World War Hulk is, I suggest you read it, NOW!!! The Illuminati was not expecting this. I'll leave it up to you, the reader, to experience the greatness that is Bruce Banner.
If this is the direction that Marvel Studios is going in, I must say I am proud to be a fan and I see larger opportunities on the horizon.
