9. Kick-Ass (2010)
MOST DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart. Director Matthew Vaughn takes this Mark Millar comic book into to live-action world violently and recklessly. This is probably one of Nicholas Cage's best performances when he plays Big Daddy. This movie introduces Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz as Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl. A must add to your library.
8. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
This was by far the best Spider-Man movie ever made, I was not the biggest fan of Maguire as Spidey or Dunst as Mary Jane from the beginning, but this movie was almost Epic. Otto Octavius aka Dr. Octopus was played by Alfred Molina and James Franco played Harry Osborn who went on to become the new Goblin. J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson might possibly be the best comic to big screen adaptation ever. Sam Raimi directed a great film here.
7. Batman (1989)
Tim Burton directed this Gotham classic. Michael Keaton, who most said would fail, knocked the Dark Knight role out of the ball field and Jack Nicholson playing the Joker didn't hurt at all. For this movie to not be on a Top 10 List would be a bit disrespectful. Some say Michael Keaton is still THE BEST BATMAN, I always say second to Adam West, lol.
6. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
Even with Director Bryan Singer back in the chair, I believe the greatness of this film was a bit overboard. It's just another Wolverine, Magneto, Prof. X and Mystique movie, basically X2 again. I do appreciate what the movie did, it tried to fix a story that went downhill during X2 and that's what made me like it. A lot of things were unexplained in this film, but what it does is tell me that Magneto will not be the main villain anymore because he doesn't need to be. Singer throws X-Men comic books out of the window when he does his films, just deal with it.
5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Joe and Anthony Russo directs one the best comic book movies, using one of the driest characters... That's right, I said it. We know what Cap stands for. Captain America: The First Avenger, which I liked, was still a bit boring, however to take a character and give him such a supporting cast like Black Widow, The Falcon played by Anthony Mackie and Nick Fury and pitting them against B & C list characters like Crossbones, Batroc and the re-creation of Armin Zola, having The Winter Soldier played by Sebastian Stan was just the sugar coating. Did you care that Agent Pierce was dry? I didn't...
4. 300 (2007)
Based on the Graphic Novel by the sometimes idiotic Frank Miller and directed by Zach Snyder. King Leonidas played by Gerard Butler heads his 300 Spartans into battle with the God King of the Persians played by Rodrigo Santoro. Lena Headey plays Queen Gorgo to King Leonidas. Everything from the visual effects to the music makes this film a great adaptation.
3. Marvel's The Avengers (2012)
Joss Whedon directed the first ever Super Hero Team-up featuring characters from the Marvel; Cinematic Universe, Iron-Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans) Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson try's to assemble this team to stand up against the threat of Thor's half-brother Loki.
2. The Dark Knight (2008)
Christopher Nolan's sequel to Batman Begins could have been the best comic book movie ever made. Batman played by Christian Bale faces his greatest nemesis The Joker played by the late Heath Ledger, and his Joker was flawless... Aaron Eckhart plays Harvey Dent/Two-Face and this film will always leave us wanting more from The Joker, even though the film was 2 hours and 32 minutes.
1. Superman 2 (1980)
Richard Donner's Superman The Movie was the great origin story to Clark Kent aka Superman played by the late Christopher Reeve. He followed this up with Superman 2 Growing, working and falling in love with Lois Lane played by Margot Kidder. However, love was sidetracked by Lex Luthor played by Gene Hackman and General Zod played by Terence Stamp.

X-Men 2 (2003)
X2 almost beat out Hellboy, but when I thought about it, Singer just re-booted the FoxMarvel Cinematic Universe. It was never anything like the comic book and the characters involved didn't have much of a back story. I still don't agree with Lady Deathstrike being in this film with William Stryker... Before Days of Future Past, X2 was the best movie in the X-Series run.
Iron Man (2008)
This began Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was a good movie, but Iron-Man villains tend to be lame. From Obadiah Stane aka Iron Monger or even Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash, they lack. Who would have ever thought that Iron-Man would have been the reason people got back into comic book movies??? Iron Man was never on your Top 5 comic book characters, now everyone wants to be Iron Man for Halloween.
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
When the Green Goliath was included into the MCU, it was not immediately accepted, it took Edward Norton playing a stellar Bruce Banner and Tim Roth playing Emil Blonsky aka The Abomination to give the fans a worth while film. This was ALMOST everything a Hulk film should be. With the money they spent on CGI, they could have went deeper, but other than that I'll watch this film whenever it's on.

2 Guns (2013)
Based on the BOOM! Studios Graphic Novel about an undercover DEA agent and an AWOL Navy Seals Intel agent initially trying to set each other up, then becoming friends and joining forces to take down crooked CIA Agents and drug lord Papi Greco. A lot of people never knew it was based on a comic, I liked it, but not enough to put it in the Top 10.
Blade (1998)
I almost, ALMOST slapped myself for not mentioning this film. This was the beginning Marvel on the big screen. Blade was not the best film, however Wesley Snipes definitely showed why he should have played the character. It was Rated R, it should have been and this spawned other Marvel movies to come that we hold near and dear to out hearts.
